Corporate Finance Adviser of the Year: Lawrence Price, Rockworth’s founder and managing director
Lawrence’s nomination recognises his work across a range of deals over the past year, spanning different industries, client circumstances and transaction structures – a reflection of the experience and versatility he brings to each project.
Deal of the Year (£10m–£50m): Sale of Obviously to RWS Holdings plc
We advised Obviously’s shareholders on the sale of their legal technology business in a deal worth up to £40m. It was a complex transaction, completed to a demanding deadline, and a genuinely collaborative effort between the founders, buyer and advisory teams.
These nominations are a welcome opportunity to recognise the work behind our recent deals and to thank the founders, lawyers and other advisers we’ve worked with. We look forward to celebrating with them and the wider Thames Valley dealmaking community at November’s ceremony.
