Lawrence Price

Lawrence has worked in corporate finance for over a decade. He has led a wide variety of transactions including sales, acquisitions and private equity fund-raisings. Previous transactions include the sale of Rubicon drinks to AG Barr PLC, the sale of BTN Turbocharger (the largest independent turbocharger distributor in Europe) to Lookers Group PLC, and the sale of MOT Model Agency to Vedior NV.
With MEng and MBA both from Imperial College, London, Lawrence brings a wealth of experience to the Oxford office.  Previously a successful engineer and manager in the sport of Formula One motor racing, Lawrence now also enjoys a strong relationship with the Said Business School, Oxford University having been invited to sit on their financial services panel.

Andrew Orrock

Prior to joining Rockworth Andrew worked in industry, initially with Daimler Group and latterly with the ABB Group where he managed change across multiple global business units. Andrew went on to establish the corporate venturing unit for ABB before joining the Rockworth team in 2003.
A graduate of Henley Management College, Andrew’s experience includes trade sales, capital raisings and acquisitions across a wide range of sectors.  He has extensive experience within the professional services sector including a £70m fund-raising for an engineering consultancy, building the business of Intermediate Management which remains a key sister organization of Rockworth and advising the MBO of an AiM-listed technology business.

Paul Bolesworth

Paul’s early career was in industry with Bentley Engineering Group; he then moved into investment banking at institutions including Citibank and Nippon Credit International. An MBA of Cranfield University, he has been providing corporate finance advice for over 20 years to public and private SME’s on both sale and acquisition mandates.
Some examples of transactions Paul has led include the divestment of non-core businesses of Torday & Carlisle Plc, acquisitions for Lex Service Plc and strategic sales to the Mayflower Corporation and Charter Plc. Alongside his corporate finance work Paul is currently involved in building an engineering business supplying the catering sector.

David Hart

David has over 25 years’ experience in corporate finance and corporate tax, including 10 years with Coopers and Lybrand working with mainly multi-national clients.  His experience includes founding and building a tax management technology business used by the majority of major accountancy firms and over 600 of the UK’s largest businesses.  David’s main focus is providing both longer term strategic planning and transaction-focussed tax strategies.David has a 1st Class BSc in Pure Mathematics, ACA and CTA qualifications.

Ian Orrock

Ian has spent an entire career creating and executing transactions. From starting his own business at 24, he has carried out several ‘buy and build’ strategies.  These include founding and building his own business and subsequently selling to United Telecom Inc; building Roxspur Plc from a shell to £45m turnover and £5m EBIT with acquisitions including Clayhithe, Horstmann Controls and Brearley Group. He has led deals both in the £200-400m range (IBL, United Leasing) and in the sub £10m turnover range (refinancing and restructuring of Vianet Plc).
As a board member of Henderson Private Equity, Ian was involved in the transfer of Kleinwort Benson Private Equity into August and subsequently New Star into Henderson. Alongside corporate finance work Ian is chairman of Imano PLC and a fast growing group in the virtual mobile network sector.
